This is old News and relates to the first stage of development, we have upgraded and added a new improved bidding system and some old content will have less relevance.
Well, I’ve been sitting here all day working on this website and thought it was time to do something else when I had a call from a customer who reminded me why this was worth all the effort. Such a nice chap as are so many other people we meet doing what we do.
If Carlsberg was an antique tool it would be an antique saw as these a cut above the wrest!
I’ve always liked Carlsberg beer advertising as they were so positive in their belief that they make the best beer in the world, which many would question given its lack of alcoholic strength. However, as I’ve got a lot older, a beer is something that should be enjoyed with good company and it’s less important if it leaves you flat on your back, in some respects judging premium beers is more a question of perspective.
I’ve seen many antics over the years in this industry to dupe the less knowledgeable but there are always other good, bad & great beers so to speak. In every trade, profession there are always those who shouldn’t be allowed to trade, some who don’t take it seriously, a few who take it for granted, others that are good, and those who are just better at it due to their dedication.
I guess it’s a matter of ‘in the detail’ that will define the subtle differences between the good and highly respected which many won’t notice or even care about. But to those who do, this is an important detail and something that they know is only instilled over many years into one’s individuality and only from one’s conscience.
In writing this it brings back memories of many successful projects that were sometimes a pleasure to undertake and also a few that needed real endurance. I know there are many looking at this website wondering is that it? but like I said I’ve been working all day again on the website and there are no visible changes other than this blog article.
A good website is simple to understand, navigate, and use, regardless of device or browser. The user experience is what defines it and websites like this are custom built to suit the customer’s needs and the webmaster’s management of what’s provided to the user.
There will be other visual changes such as imagery to be done but these are just cosmetic in a webmasters world. What’s needed now is the content, character, and personality of the website.
It’s a bit late to grab that Carlsberg tonight but tomorrow is another day and I’ll be back bashing away at the keyboard to improve things further.
