At this time behind the scenes, we are still adding features to this website. It’s great having big ideas but making them work seamlessly together is a much bigger task, however, if it’s not all done before we get things properly rolling here they probably wouldn’t ever materialise.
The auction software is now all fully installed, tested, and functioning and is now being tweaked to look consistent within the website. We will be addressing the MyAccount areas next to ensure website users have a full suite of tools at their disposal that will ensure they are fully informed throughout the bidding and watching the process, it will also have enhanced shipping tracking, etc for buyers.
I can’t even begin to explain how many jobs are being done on a daily basis to progress the site but we feel confident that we will have everything in place later in the year as planned.
You may have also seen the members tab that has recently been added to the menu, this is being done to create a quality audience so that they can use and engage with the website through good quality interesting content, research, and discussion. This is needed to prevent genuine website users from being abused by unsavory online trolls who have nothing better to do with their time. Unfortunately, this is a real issue and has to be addressed when any website wants to run smoothly.
Added security and data protection are other areas we are taking very seriously with the building of this website.
I’ll try and bring more news as the month goes on, along with adding some content to the blog which will open up at a later date for comments.
