Superb Antique Norris No: 28g steel soled gunmetal chariot plane with original iron and rosewood wedge and much of its original lacquer, in very good used condition. This example has all matching No: 1 number to its body, wedge and iron and has seen little use.
Estimate: £1000+
Rarely do these come onto the market on auction nowadays without having set prices on them for poorer examples ranging from £2000-3000 online. On the face of it these are probably prices they once fetched without taking into account inflation and why its such a great time to get into collecting tools such as this.
